Smart Export is designed with privacy at its core. Your SQL query results, database schemas, connection strings, and export files remain entirely on your local machine.

We will never upload, transmit, store, or access any of your customer data or query results. This is a fundamental principle of our product — not an optional setting.

The only network communication Smart Export performs is a one-time license activation check when you first enter your activation code.

This verification confirms that your license is valid. No query data, database information, or export content is sent during activation.

After successful activation, the plugin works fully offline. No ongoing telemetry or data sync is required.

All export operations — formatting, templating, data masking, and file generation — happen locally within SSMS on your Windows machine.

Smart Export does not require a cloud account and does not sync your work to any remote server.
